HAPPY PROPAGANDA Guide: How the Five-Day Broadcast Loop Works
The central problem is not “delete every hostile comment.” You are balancing State Channel One’s Rating, the public’s anger, and Happy Lun’s Stability across a five-day assignment. This guide explains the verified loop without pretending there is a published perfect route.
1. Read the room before the broadcast

Each day begins outside the live show. Read the morning paper and your inbox, then check the in-game websites available to the Broadcast Supervisor. These screens establish the day’s political pressure and give context to the comments you will later moderate.
Treat this preparation as part of the decision system, not optional lore. The official description explicitly places newspapers, email, websites, the featured-topic choice and presenter conversations in the daily loop. Taking notes on recurring names or themes makes later replays easier to compare.
- Read the newspaper before choosing a topic.
- Open new inbox messages and in-game sites.
- Record the day and the featured topic you select.
- Talk to Happy Lun before the show when the option appears.
2. Use Censor Buddy as a warning, not an autopilot

During the broadcast, Censor Buddy identifies comments the state expects you to remove. Following every prompt may protect the channel Rating, but the game’s own description warns that excessive deletion increases Public Discontent. Conversely, letting insults through can cool audience anger while damaging the presenter’s Stability.
That triangle is the key to the entire game. A comment can be politically risky, socially useful, and emotionally harmful at the same time. Read the text and decide which consequence you are willing to accept; do not reduce the interface to a reaction-speed minigame.
- Rating
- Falls when deletion orders are ignored
- Public Discontent
- Rises when too many comments are deleted
- Happy Lun’s Stability
- Can fall when hostile comments reach her
3. Finish the day and preserve a useful record
After the show, use any available conversation with Happy Lun to understand the human cost of the broadcast. The game frames her as a rookie presenter rather than a meter to be optimized, so dialogue choices belong in the same decision record as censorship and featured topics.
For a first playthrough, make coherent choices instead of trying to reverse-engineer every ending. For later runs, change one category at a time—moderation stance, featured topic, or presenter dialogue—and write down the result. This produces evidence you can trust without copying a speculative route.
- Note the day’s topic and your general moderation stance.
- Record important presenter dialogue choices.
- Write down the ending code shown at the end of the run.
- On the next run, change one decision category rather than everything at once.
4. Plan replays around ED1–ED4
Steam exposes four hidden achievements—ED1 Unity, ED2 End of Tenure, ED3 Liberation and ED4 To You. The official pages do not publish exact choice requirements. A guide that claims a guaranteed sequence without reproducible evidence would be guessing, so this site uses a replay worksheet instead.
Start with the ending you reached naturally. On a second run, adopt a clearly different moderation posture while keeping other choices relatively stable. Then vary the daily topics or presenter conversations. This controlled approach is slower than a fabricated checklist but far more likely to show which class of choice matters.
Quick answers
Should I censor every flagged comment?+
No single perfect policy is published. The official description says ignoring deletion orders can lower Rating, while excessive deletion raises Public Discontent. Letting insults through may reduce anger but can harm Happy Lun’s Stability.
Does this guide contain exact ending choices?+
No. Steam confirms four endings through hidden achievements, but a trustworthy choice-by-choice route was not available during the evidence check.
How long does a run take?+
The official store establishes a five-day assignment but does not publish a completion-time estimate. Run length will depend on reading speed and how thoroughly you inspect the daily material.
